I have been working on my latest painting for a while. I really thought it wouldn’t take too long, but it has been months and I keep finding little things to tweak. A few more feathers here, some more shading on the berries there . . . so I am letting it dry and will revisit it tomorrow. But I think it is almost done. So here is a shot of my Red-bellied woodpecker, in progress.
